Culture Minister: Junkanoo Parades Will Go On; Way Forward Will Only be Participant
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Culture Minister Mario Bowleg announced today that both the 2024 Boxing Day and 2025 New Year’s Day Junkanoo parades will go on as planned.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Culture Minister Mario Bowleg announced today that both the 2024 Boxing Day and 2025 New Year’s Day Junkanoo parades will go on as planned.
He also announced that the Way Forward Valley Boys led by Trevor Davis will only be a participant in the parades and not for competition.
The Boxing Day parade is scheduled to begin at 9pm on December 25th.
