NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three police officers accused of manslaughter won’t be tried until March 2027.

Sergeant Antoine Sweeting, Sergeant Jamal Johnson and Corporal Deangelo Rolle appeared before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns today for a fixture hearing.

They are accused of shooting 31-year-old Azario Major after he allegedly pointed a gun at them while in a rental car outside of Woody’s Bar on December 26, 2021.

The officers are free on $9,900 bail.
