NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A transgender visitor is threatening legal action after alleging she was viciously attacked in a nightclub by a group of men.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A transgender visitor is threatening legal action after alleging she was viciously attacked in a nightclub by a group of men.
A 26-year-old transgender woman says her birthday trip to The Bahamas turned violent.
American China Diamond says she spent her birthday in jail after an alleged altercation at a local nightclub on Saturday.
Her attorney Mark Rolle claims she was approached by the owner who told her that she would make a “good bartender”.
Rolle alleges after the club owner found out she was transgender all hell broke loose.
Her attorney says Diamond was arrested and charged in court with causing harm. The case according to Rolle was dismissed.
The attorney is also calling on the Bahamas Christian Council.
