GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The green economy expanding on Grand Bahama as ADO Bahamas and the Church Commercial Farming Group launched their backyard farming initiative.

Officials say the backyard farming initiative teaches residents how to farm and feed themselves for a lifetime.

President of The Bahamas Christian Council Rev. Delton Fernander says opportunities can be created through backyard farming.

Executive Chairman of ADO Bahamas and Chairman of the Church Commercial Farming Group also bringing brief remarks noting that Grand Bahama had a lot of registrants.

Backyard farming kits were distributed to those in attendance those how attended applauded the initiative.
