NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Jobeth Coleby-Davis – who serves as the Member of Parliament for Elizabeth Estates, as well as, the housing and transport minister – admits the transition from the senate into the House of Assembly, along with her double portfolio while being a wife and a mom has not been easy.

And, she says it’s not just that village that supports her but her constituents as well.

We also asked her why she seems so passionate about the housing, the minister sites her parents as her motivation.

Coleby-Davis is also responsible for transport which includes the Road Traffic Department, the Aircraft, Accident Investigation Authority, Bahamas Maritime Authority, the busing and taxi cab system, the post office among a laundry list of others.
