NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Central Bank Governor is predicting the economy will continue to thrive next year, despite global predictions of a recession in the United States.

Central Bank Governor John Rolle says it’s not in the cards for The Bahamas, mainly thanks to the pent-up demand in the tourism sector.

The news came during the bank’s quarterly economic briefing, Monday.

John Hopkins University economists are predicting a recession in 2023 for the U.S.

Despite these grim forecasts, Rolle is saying otherwise.
