NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Colours Entertainment and Junkanoo Organisation captured another victory this year and while they’re happy for the win group leader Chris Justilien is concerned the group is being treated unfairly and took issue with a few occurences from the last parade.

That’s the energy in the Colours Junkanoo organization’s shack following another smashing Junkanoo victory.

While they are happy for the win, leader Christian Justilien tells us this time around was challenging. He explains the lead and step-down costume categories were introduced to B-groups late this year.

Despite the ruling, they still came out on top.

In addition to resources, preparation for these parades takes a lot of man-hours.

Justilien says it’s not sustainable.

But those weren’t the only obstacles facing the Boxing Day champs ahead of the 2023 parade.

Justilien is also taking issue with the order of entry, claiming groups were placed ahead of them. Overall he believes the group’s treatment was unfair.
