GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Music, food, and Bahamian culture took center stage as the Grand Cultural Festival filled downtown Freeport with energy.

Local artists, including Avvy, Shine 242, Rycon Bahamas and Mama D, kept the crowds entertained, while cultural displays and local cuisine showcased the island’s heritage.

Minister for Grand Bahama Ginger Moxey said the festival is about more than entertainment. She says it helps drive cultural pride, economic growth and the revitalization of downtown Freeport.

Ginger Moxey – Minister, Grand Bahama

“This festival does more than celebrate. It confirms a permanent truth. That Grand Bahama stands as the undisputed home of events and entertainment. Yet, tonight, stretches beyond spectacular music and exceptional food. By anchoring our rich heritage in the present, we unlock the future of robust economic growth and self-determination of our people. This, in part, is the definitive blueprint for our cultural and economic revival.”
