Flag Raising Ceremonies Held Countrywide

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Local Government Offices around the country held flag raising ceremonies Monday morning in honor of March being Local Government Month. 

Chief Councillor of the City of Freeport Council, Frazette Gibson reminds us the importance of our flag at the ceremony in Freeport.

March is also internationally recognized as International Women’s Month, a celebration Deputy Chief Councillor, Dr. Charlene Reid-Morris said they will incorporate into their local government celebrations.
