NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Labour Director, FNM candidate, and BPSU President John Pinder is slamming the leadership of the Bahamas Public Services Union.

He says members have been asking for his return and as a result, he announced he will be running in the next election.

Pinder is hitting out at sitting president Kimsley Ferguson saying its time for the union to return to normalcy.

This is just one reason why pinder and his team are throwing their hat in the race for leadership of the union.

Pinder who left the union and served as acting director of labor under the former FNM administration says members have been asking for his return.

Pinder says he’s received multiple complaints from current BPSU members who feel the current leadership doesn’t care about them anymore but Pinder said he’s been tested and proven.

He feels his time as acting labour director makes him an ideal candidate for the position.
