NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Hurricane Dorian Benefit Concert is now in the history books following controversy involving some survivors who say this was not the right avenue to show support. None the less the room was filled with supporters as headlining international gospel artist Cece Winans took the stage.

Hundreds of residents turning out in support of the Hurricane Dorian Benefit Concert at Baha Mar Thursday evening.

The concert kicking off with local music artists Simeon Outten was among them.

Press Secretary in the Office of The Prime Minister Clint Watson, reminding attendees of the event’s importance.

And then it was time for the highlight of the night. Gospel recording artist, Cece Winans.

Winans saying she understands times have been rough and people are still hurting, but know that there is a god who sees, who knows and who cares.
