NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has made it easier for a murder suspect’s family to sign his bail.

Justice Dale Fitzpatrick has ordered that as many as four persons can post Spencer Lewis’ bail while using job letters

Lewis’ bail was set at $25,000 bail with two sureties in August.

But his family couldn’t sign the bail because they didn’t have any property to lodge as a security.

Prosecutors allege that Lewis murdered Max Darville and attempted to murder Deiondre Demeritte on September 19, 2022.

The men were at a grill out through Luckyheart Corner when the occupants of a Toyota Passo opened fire, hitting both men.
