Landlord and Daughter Convicted of Trying to Kill Tenants

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A jury has found a landlady and her daughter guilty of the attempted murder of their tenants by a vote of 8-1.

Michelle Williams and her daughter Glenresha Williams were accused of encouraging another person to open fire on Adrian Cooper and his former fiancée, Savannah Bain, following a dispute on October 28, 2021.

The incident happened at Romer Street in Fox Hill.

The accused admitted that the gunman came out of their vehicle.

However, they denied that they knew he was armed or intended to shoot at their tenants’ car.

The Williamses, who were on bail during the trial, have been remanded pending a a sentencing hearing before Justice Renae McKay.
