Man Faces Charges in Ragged Island Street Shooting
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 35-year-old man is facing charges after a triple shooting left a woman dead and two others injured.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 35-year-old man is facing charges after a triple shooting left a woman dead and two others injured.
Prosecutors say Deangelo Culmer is responsible for the January 31 murder of Rudiska Bethel and the attempted murders of Lorenzo Sands
The charges stem from a shooting at Ragged Island Street and Cordeaux Avenue.
Police said the victims were socializing near a bar when they became victims of a drive-by shooting.
Culmer didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared beforw Senior Magistrate Shaka Serville.
Bail was denied and Culmer returns to court on August 30 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
