UNITED STATES – McDonald’s announced Sunday it will reintroduce quarter pounders at hundreds of restaurants after tests confirmed that beef patties were not the source of an E. Coli outbreak.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration identified slivered onions from Taylor Farms in Colorado, as the likely contaminant.

The outbreak has sickened at least 75 people across 13 states, with 22 hospitalized and one death reported in Colorado.
