NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Junkanoo Museum at the Nassau Cruise Port is a walk through history, filled with vibrant sights, rich culture, captivating facts, and of course, the undeniably sweet sounds of Junkanoo.

General Manager Asia Saunders says the museum is an experience that was necessary.
Displays depict the heart of Junkanoo. The drums, and the progression of the costumes from the use of sponges and newspapers, to the glitz and jewels we witness today.
Saunders also points out that the retail space is a continuation of Bahamian pride, rotating artwork from Bahamians and offering authentically Bahamian products for sale. She says they are open to more collaborations.
