NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Applications are flooding into the Passport Office after the Privy Council ruling which said anyone born out of wedlock in The Bahamas, to a Bahamian father and foreign mother should have the right to a Bahamian passport at birth.

Attorney General Ryan Pinder says a major concern is proof of paternity in cases where no father is listed on the birth certificate.
