NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Repairs are underway at T. A. Thompson Junior High School, as education officials tour renovations and repairs of New Providence schools.

Structural concerns at the school’s academic block forced students and faculty to relocate to the University of The Bahamas for most of the spring term, while repairs were made.

Earlier this week, Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin and the school’s acting principal expressed hope the renovations would be complete and the school ready to welcome students on August 29th.
