Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings telling Our News that officers were on routine patrol on Gladstone Road, when they observed the white 2022 Suzuki XL traveling south at high speed.

That’s when the chase ensued, but ended a short time later when the suspects crashed into a wall after realizing they were surrounded by police. Skippings tells us both suspects, who are known to police, were out on bail for serious offenses and were being electronically monitored.

She said one of them had their bracelet covered completely in foil.

This incident comes on the heels of the police force placing 10 brand new high terrain SUVs on New Providence.

The vehicles wich she says were made specifically for law enforcement can cover any terrain and better positions officers to catch criminals.
