The Freshman Wideout Goes in Boise State Blowout

BOISE, ID, USA – Grand Bahama-born Wide Receiver Prince Strachan had himself a game last night to help his Boise State Broncos rout the University of New Mexico Lobos.

Strachan had three catches for an incredible 128 yards and a touchdown to help his team secure the 42-14 win.

His biggest play came in the third quarter when he got over the top of the defense on a busted coverage to catch a 74-yard bomb to give Boise a 21-14 lead over New Mexico.

This game was a breakthrough for Strachan, who showcased his big play ability on every play he was involved in. His two other catches were for 30 and 24 yards respectively.  Strachan averaged an astounding 42.7 yards per catch on the night.

The win puts Boise State’s record at 5-5, a disappointment by the team’s lofty standards but they are still one win away from bowl eligibility and are 4-2 in the conference, good for 2nd place.

Standing 6’5” with track speed, Strachan has the physical ability to play at any college. If he opts to not hit the transfer portal and stay in Idaho, the Broncos may have a bonafide superstar on their hands as they seek to regain their former glory.
