NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Preschools, primary schools and high schools showed up and showed out on pioneers way for the return of the Junior Junkanoo parade on the northern island.

Youth, Sports and Culture Minister Mario Bowleg says he’s pleased with the numbers.

And, he says the talent displayed by the youngsters was impressive.

Deputy Co-Chair of the National Junkanoo Committee, Kishlane Smith also sharing her excitement for the return of the parade.

As for the scoring of the junior parade, NJC’s Chair of Scoring, Kevin Pratt says timely results were the order of the day.
