2023 CARIFTA Track Team Announced
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – BAAA’s President Drumeco Archer announced the 80-member CARIFTA Track Team Tuesday afternoon, the first time a team of this size has ever been fielded in Bahamian history.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – BAAA’s President Drumeco Archer announced the 80-member CARIFTA Track Team Tuesday afternoon, the first time a team of this size has ever been fielded in Bahamian history.
The team – made up of 39 females and 41 males – will be coached by John Ingraham from Grand Bahama.
Fifteen members of the team are from Grand Bahama, one is from Abaco and two are from Andros. Officials said this is the largest contingent of Family Island students the CARIFTA Track Team has ever had.
In total there are eight coaches, three managers and five chaperones.
