30-Year-Old Man Accused of Assisting Murder Detained

A 30-year-old man accused of assisting murderers is behind bars.
Prosecutors say Andre Thompson rented the car that was used by the gunmen who shot and killed Brendon Adderley on July 26.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 30-year-old man accused of assisting murderers is behind bars.
Prosecutors say Andre Thompson rented the car that was used by the gunmen who shot and killed Brendon Adderley on July 26.
Adderely and his brother were driving on Eden Street in Chippingham when they were cut off by another car driven the gunmen who chased and killed Adderley.
Thompson, whose street name is Jopper, faced a charge of abutment to murder when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
Thompson didn’t have to enter a plea.
He’s back in court on Thursday for a bail hearing.
