NASSAU, BAHAMAS – About 30,000 street lights in New Providence will be replaced with LED lights. The replacement is estimated to reduce electricity consumption by 20-30 percent.

This is According to Bahamas Power And Light CEO Shevonn Cambridge. 

Cambridge also briefly mentions the 60 megawatt project which is estimated to reduce BPL’s fuel bill by 25-30 million dollars annually.
