CUBA – A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Cuba on Sunday. With the epicenter located 25 miles south of Bartolomé Masó.

Residents in cities like Santiago De Cuba felt the tremors though no damage or injuries were immediately reported.

The quake adds to Cuba’s recent struggles following hurricane Rafael’s destruction last week, island-wide blackouts, and economic hardships that have fueled small protests.
