UNITED STATES – Harvey Weinstein’s third rape charge ended in a mistrial on Thursday. A New York jury could not reach a unanimous decision on the third-degree rape charge involving actress Jessica Mann, forcing the judge to call it.

One day earlier, jurors convicted Weinstein of sexually assaulting a former “Project Runway” assistant, but acquitted him on another charge tied to a 2006 incident.

Tensions reportedly escalated in the jury room, with the foreperson refusing to continue deliberating, citing threats from other jurors.
