Guyana President Launches Re-Election Bid

GUYANA – Guyana’s President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali is promising “transformative development” on a scale never seen before if re-elected for a second term in 2025.

At a massive rally in Georgetown Sunday, Ali vowed more jobs, homes, and zero-interest loans for small businesses, while also pledging to reform banking and boost worker salaries.

He told thousands of cheering supporters his government doesn’t make empty promises, it builds schools, roads, and hospitals.

Ali also warned voters not to “gamble” with the future, insisting his party delivers results, not rhetoric.
