Cable Bahamas Group of Companies pulled out all of the stops for its employees during its annual Epic Awards. An evening dedicated to honoring the individuals behind the leading technology, innovation, and customer service the brand is known for.

Chief Executive Officer, Franklyn Butler Jr., says while the company is often recognized for innovation, this night was all about the people powering it.

The awards span various categories including employee, supervisor, and manager of the year, all selected through a structured nomination process driven by core company values.

Senior Manager of culture and training, Janelle Hutchinson, explains how the selection process is grounded in the company’s guiding principles.

And one of those, said to have demonstrated those values, is Director of Human Resources, Keshala Knowles.

Also present was Chief Aliv Officer John Gomez, who says the night is a reflection of the company’s core belief – people make the difference.

Among the many honorees, IT Manager Quincy Arthur says the recognition is a powerful motivator, especially having only been with the company for 18 months.
