U.S. Forces Kill Two in Strike on Alleged Drug Boat in the Pacific
UNITED STATES – The Pentagon has confirmed a new U.S. strike on a vessel suspected of carrying drugs in the Pacific Ocean, the first such strike in that region.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says two people on board were killed, none of the U.S. forces were hurt.
The boat, known to U.S. intelligence, was targeted along a well-known trafficking route near Colombia.
It marks the eighth strike on suspected drug boats since September 2, part of a broader operation President Trump calls a war against “narco-terrorists.”
More than 30 people have been killed in these strikes to date, as tensions mount between the U.S. and Colombian President Gustavo Petro.
