Bail Denied for Third Man Charged With 2015 Murder

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A third suspect has been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old man in Bain Town.

Anvar Ferguson, 22, of Dorsette Alley, is accused of playing a role in the August 3, 2015 drive-by shooting of Roland Evans.

Police said Evans and others were in front of a home on Adderley Street, off Augusta Street, when the occupants of a car opened fire.

Evans was rushed to hospital, where he died a short time later.

Ferguson wasn’t required to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

He was denied bail and returns to court on February 12, 2026 yo receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.

Authorities in September charged two other suspects in the murder. Antorio Rolle, 23, and Randy Brown, 33, are also behind bars in relation to the incident.
