UNITED STATES – Travelers across the United States are facing more flight chaos as the Federal Aviation Administration orders airlines to cut even more flights.

With air traffic controllers unpaid for over a month, the agency says safety demands flight reductions — now up to ten percent by Friday.

Nearly twelve hundred flights were canceled Tuesday alone, with bad weather making things worse.

The Senate has passed a bill to reopen the government, but the House has yet to vote.

Until then, controllers remain stretched thin, delays continue, and passengers are paying the price.
