FAA Gives $10k Bonus To Controllers And Techs With Perfect Attendance

UNITED STATES- The Federal Aviation Administration says only 776 air traffic controllers and technicians with perfect attendance during the 43-day government shutdown… will receive a $10,000 bonus… leaving nearly 20,000 other workers without one.

Unions call the move unfair, saying thousands worked through the shutdown without pay and also deserve recognition.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy praised the small group who never missed a shift… while lawmakers are now pressing the administration to reward all staff who kept the nation’s airspace moving.
