American Teen Charged With Raping 16-Year-Old Girl While on a Cruise

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An American teen is behind bars after he allegedly raped a 16-year-old while on a cruise with his family.

Prosecutors say the 17-year-old of Minnesota raped the teen on the Carnival Sunrise on December 29.

The teen’s name has been withheld because he is a juvenile.

According to police, the alleged victim, who’s also American, was sexually assaulted after she went to the teen’s cabin shortly after they met.

The teen was not required to enter a plea to the rape charge when he stood before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

Bail was denied and he’s back in Court on June 25 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
