Investor Louis Bacon Wins Defamation Case Against Ex-fashion Mogul Peter Nygard

UNITED STATES – Billionaire hedge fund manager Louis Bacon has won a long running defamation lawsuit against former fashion mogul Peter Nygard, stemming from a bitter dispute over their adjacent properties in The Bahamas.

UNITED STATES – Billionaire hedge fund manager Louis Bacon has won a long running defamation lawsuit against former fashion mogul Peter Nygard, stemming from a bitter dispute over their adjacent properties in The Bahamas.

A New York judge recently ruled Nygard admitted he had no evidence to support claims that Bacon was a murderer, drug trafficker or white supremacist.

Nygard, now serving an eleven-year prison sentence in Canada for sexual assault, says he plans to appeal the decision.
