Rosani Lens Project Expands To EMR, Donates Over 400 Glasses

GRAND BAHAMA, THE BAHAMAS – For years, the Rosani Lens Project has been visiting Grand Bahama, helping to give the gift of sight to residents on that Northern Island.

During this year’s visit, organizers took the donations to a new level, moving the initiative to West Grand Bahama.

What started a small donation of 50 free glasses distributed from the Salvation Army in the City of Freeport, has now expanded to 400 free pairs of glasses being given to residents in Freeport and the Eight Mile Rock community, Rotarian Randy Bobb, explains how the process works.

The Rosani Lens Project began in 2019 and has since provided glasses to thousands of people across 21 countries and 5 continents.

These volunteers share why this mission is so rewarding.

Now the initiative is in partnership with the local rotary clubs of Grand Bahama.

Rotarian, Betty Van Lew sharing that they quickly exceeded their goal and they’ve truly seen instant results.

These residents also sharing their excitement to have improved vision.
