Mexico Says More Aid Will Depart To Fuel-Deprived Cuba

MEXICO – Mexico is sending another humanitarian aid ship to Cuba. as the island faces a worsening energy and supply crisis.

President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Friday .that supplies collected in Veracruz are being transported by a Mexican navy vessel, with additional solidarity shipments also being prepared by international civil society groups.

Sheinbaum also said her government is looking at ways to help provide fuel support to Cuba, without affecting Mexico’s own energy supply.

The assistance comes as Cuba continues to struggle with severe fuel shortages amid ongoing restrictions linked to the United States.
