UNITED STATES – Some interesting facts to note about today in history. In 1995, Former American Football Star O.J. Simpson was acquitted of murdering his wife and a male friend, he was found guilty in a civil suit in 1997.

Meanwhile in 2008, United States President George W. Bush signed the emergency Economic Stabilization Act.
It came after the House of Representatives passed the $700 billion Financial Rescue Legislation in Washington.
And in 2013, the U.S. Capitol was placed on lockdown after gunshots were fired outside the building, injuring several people including a law enforcement officer, a senate aide, and a capitol police officer.
