CHINA – The Chinese government is accused of establishing at least two undeclared police stations in the Netherlands.

The Dutch media found these overseas stations which promised diplomatic services but were being used to silence Chinese dissidents in Europe.

The Dutch Foreign Ministry calls the unofficial police outposts illegal.

The Chinese government rejected the allegations.

There could be as many as 54 of these outposts in 21 countries in Europe, in countries like Spain and Italy, as well as the UK.
