UNITED STATES – As the Prime Minister makes his case for climate funding at COP 27, a Bahamian studying individual and household preparedness in The Bahamas is hoping for action on this issue following COP 27.

Trevor Johnson is a PhD candidate at North Dakota State University, focusing on disaster management.

With major hurricanes such as Dorian, Matthew and Joaquin racking up more than four billion dollars worth of damage, Johnson says most of it is linked to climate change but words are not enough.
