NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The movie industry took a hit globally as theaters saw a decline in customers. Fusion Superplex was no exception. But as the economy rebounds, theaters are filling up.

Business at Fusion Superplex is beginning to pick up, according to Chief People and Experience Officer Dr. Trevare Sherman, who credits the release of new movies as the biggest draw.

Between 2020 and 2021, movie theaters were closed for nearly a year due to the COVID-19 protocols put in place by the former Minnis administration.

Since reopening, business has gotten better and better.

Sherman says they’re thinking positively despite some challenges.

The company plans to continue its momentum into the holidays with events planned for the season.
