NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country pausing to say goodbye to the late Edward Andrew “Dud” Maynard. Leaders from across the political divide paying tribute and honoring the legacy and contributions of the nation builder.

The late Edward Andrew Maynard, affectionally called, Dud, eulogized today as family, friends, and political leaders in an official state funeral.

Prime Minister, Philip Davis, remembering Maynard as one that spoke his mind freely, but always for the greater good of the country.

Former Prime Minister, Hubert Ingraham says he worked with Maynard in two general elections, noting that Maynard was dubbed as a master election coordinator.

Leader of the Free National Movement Michael Pintard says that Maynard made invaluable contributions to this nation, putting country above politics.

Maynard died at the age of 82.
