NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Princess Margaret Hospital Blood Bank is hoping to see more volunteers come in to donate blood, as it is relying on replacement donors to keep supplies up. Blood Bank Supervisor Mario Williams explains that replacement donations occur when patients that come in for a procedure that requires blood, and they let family and friends know they are in need of blood.

However, Williams says he hopes more people would simply come in and donate a pint of blood if they can.
