Former Prime Minister Hits Out at Hospital Plans

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis hitting out at the state of Princess Margaret Hospital, adding that previous research shows building a new hospital would be too costly.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis hitting out at the state of Princess Margaret Hospital, adding that previous research shows building a new hospital would be too costly.

Speaking in Parliament Wednesday night, Dr. Minnis said research also shows that the current site for the hospital is best.

Dr. Minnis said this began with the critical care block.

There has been much talk of a new hospital in for New Providence, but the new location hasn’t been identified yet.

But Dr. Minnis reasons funding for upgrades to PMH was already secured.
