CHINA – China’s foreign ministry says the United States has flown balloons into its airspace more than 10 times in the past year.

The announcement comes after the US shot down a suspected spy balloon over its airspace on February 4. Relations between the two countries have since deteriorated.

Beijing foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Monday the US had made many airspace breaches.
