Cayman: Tiffany Conolly Loses Miss Universe Crown

CAYMAN ISLANDS – Miss Cayman Islands Universe Tiffany Conolly has been stripped of her title following a summary court ruling in criminal case against the queen.

Tourism Minister Kenneth Bryan says the decision follows her assault conviction and now means Miss Chloe Powery-Doxey will formally be crowned” as Miss Cayman Islands Universe “And will carry out those duties for the remainder of this term.”

With the crown now being handed over to Powery-Doxey, it is unclear whether she will receive the four year scholarship valued at $70,000 and a car, which would have been previously available to Conolly as initial crown holder.
