The MLB Star is in Midseason Form

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There are many questions coming into the 2023 Major League Baseball season surrounding the Miami Marlins and their best player, Nassau’s Jazz Chisholm.

These questions revolve mostly around the team’s general competency as an organization and Jazz’s position change from 2nd base to center field.  There are no questions, however, about Jazz’s ability to hit a baseball.

Jazz hit 14 home runs with an .860 OPS last year. Yesterday he showed some of that pop at the plate, hitting a moon shot in spring training, his first live-action home run of 2023.

Jazz missed a large chunk of the season with an injury, for a Marlins team that was never in their division race. They’ve retooled, adding new players and a new manager, but for this team to have a chance this year, Jazz is going to have to hit more of these, a lot more.
