NEW YORK, NEW YORK – It’s one of the busiest spots on the planet, and for the next year, millions of visitors to New York’s Times Square are going to be reminded why The Bahamas should be next on their vacation list.

For 53 years the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board has been helping to market properties in the busiest stop in The Bahamas.

A whopping 87 percent of hotel inventory is in this part of the market. Today 16 member properties support the work of the Ministry of Tourism, getting heads into beds.

Last week Joy Jibirlu, CEO of the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board led a marketing media blitz to New York City where top-tier journalists heard the success story of the country’s post-COVID recovery.

One of the wins is a seven-screen display of Nassau and Paradise Island, 24-hours a day in one the busiest spots on the planet – Times Square.

Getting those visitors to The Bahamas couldn’t be easier with daily direct service from three airports in New York’s tri-state area, and more airlift coming as early as this month.
