$9M Spent on CARIFTA Preparations

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A total of $9 million has been spent for the upcoming CARIFTA Games according to LOC CEO Lynden Maycock.

He offered this breakdown: operational cost totals $3.5 million, capital works $2.5 million and new track development $3 million at both stadiums.

As for tickets, Maycock says between 65-70% of the tickets have been sold.

“The Jamaicans are buying up the tickets, Bahamians come and get your tickets,” he told the media on Thursday.
