GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Grand Bahama set to be home to a new world class luxury resort, Six Senses Grand Bahama, expected to boost tourism, development and investment.

Marc Weller, President and founding partner of Weller Development, noting the Six Senses luxury project is expected to be significant for Grand Bahama’s image and branding. The resort will sit on 36 acres, featuring a hotel, 45 canal front villas and 20 branded residences.

Weller added The Bahamas takes sustainable tourism very seriously and the brand will focus on that as a priority.

He explained Grand Bahama, Weller says the island’s natural beauty, the proximity to the United States.

Once opened, a portion of the hotel revenues will be directed toward marine conservation, coral restoration and other community initiatives.
