NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This year’s cohort of the public service professional engagement program, also known as ps-pep was the first to open applications to differently-abled participants seeking work.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This year’s cohort of the public service professional engagement program, also known as ps-pep was the first to open applications to differently-abled participants seeking work.
Some of those participants have been placed in various roles within the Cable Bahamas group of companies.
Human resources Vice President Ed Duncombe says the company took extra care with the placement process.
Duncombe also hopes the impact of the program can extend beyond its 52-week duration, and that bringing the often overlooked demographic into the workforce can show the new possibilities in the talent pools of companies.
